Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy ( Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy) Is a hybrid combining role-playing and fighting games. If you enjoyed final fantasy dissidia you will defiantly love this game.
At first look i have noticed some significant changes to this game, yes there are some pros and cons but no game is perfect. The game opens up with an awesome CGI clip of all the playable characters. Unlike its predecessor, this game takes the player on a campaign where you can only advance to other characters stories by completing the main sequence. The newly added RPG mode takes is meant for the gamers who only wish to play the game for its story ( imo a complete waste of time as the battle system is realy sleazy in this mode and requires no skill).
If you have some basic knowledge of fighting action rpgs such as FF: Crisis Core, I recommend choosing the normal mode. This game includes a new “field” map and gives the game a more classic Final Fantasy feel, After every stage you complete you get to run on the world map and buy items! (Oh joy! )
Ok so over all I can say Well done Square Enix, it seems like you are back on track :)
Game Score: 9/10
