Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection Review
Out of all the final fantasy games in the series, this one is by far the best when it comes to story. First released in 1991 on the “ Super Family computer” (Also Known as the SNES). When it was released in North America it was titled Final Fantasy 2, Square Enix re-released this game on April 19, 2011 on the PSP console. This game isn’t just FF IV though, it combines 3 games in one (FF IV, FF IV: The After Years and FF IV: Interlude) which adds a much broader story to this game.
It tells the story of a Black Knight named Cecil who, after committing heinous crimes on behalf of his king, attempts to right past wrongs. Along his journey, he meets a cast of characters that are amongst the most interesting characters in the entire Final Fantasy series. From the deceitful Dragoon Kain and the summoner Rydia to the ninja king Edge and the twin mages Porom and Palom, Final Fantasy IV's cast is among the strongest in RPG history. The fact that these characters end up on an unavoidable path to save the world simply makes them all the more likable, even if each of them has flaws that are, at times, significant.
Final Fantasy IV plays much like many traditional JRPGs of the time. Gamers will control a party of up to five characters. By visiting a variety of locales, from castles and dungeons to towns and cities, you'll be able to progress through the primary story of Final Fantasy IV, while occasionally branching off to complete some random side quests and other peripheral tasks. Many locations are associated to an overarching world map that players will often travel over. And combat in the game is triggered by random encounters. Once a random encounter has trapped your party, you'll have to fight through enemies using Final Fantasy IV's turn-based-but-not-quite system known as Active Time Battle.
Don’t expect to finish this game quick, there is atleast 70 hours of gameplay to experience. Thank you Square Enix for the re-release of this title :).

Z.H.P Unlosing Ranger vs Darkdeath Evilman Review
A couple years back, one of the first Nippon Ichi Software games to make it out of Japan was Disgaea, which brought strategy RPGs back to the scene and caused many hours to be sucked away. Since NIS America was created, they have been cranking out EXCELLENT games such as Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman.
If you enjoyed the Disagaea series, you will definitely enjoy this title. It can basically be called Disagaea on steroids, you get all the awesome features (such as: awesome gameplay, funny cut scenes, fully customizable main character, AWESOME THEME SONG and more). This game stays true to its strategy turn-based roots.
The storyline of ZHP is ... well, I'd say simple, but it's still insane. A baby was born that was prophesized to save the world, and has many superhuman powers. This baby was captured by Darkdeath Evilman and held hostage. The world's greatest hero, Unlosing Ranger, was on his way to fight Darkdeath Evilman when....he was hit by a car. Right in front of you, the player. With his dying breath, he gives the player the power to become the Unlosing Ranger, so that you can fight Darkdeath Evilman, but then you die…
(take a look at this trailer :))
Game Over. (not really Game over but that’s how the game starts lol)
This game was one of the best titles released last year. If you are really keen to get it be legit and support NIS.

The 3rd Birthday Review
Remember back in 1997 when Square Soft (now known as Square Enix) released Parasite Eve a lot of people were skeptical about it but wow, what an awesome game! Its been 11 years since the last game in this series (Parasite Eve 2) and alI I can say is it has been worth the wait :). Don’t worry new players to the series will understand what’s going on.
When starting a new game you get to see a really awesome CGI showing the Big Apple getting torn apart. You are quickly introduced to the series main hero Aya Brea and find out that a year has passed since the events of Parasite Eve 2. You are tasked with traveling back in time to prevent the outbreak from spreading.
I found the gameplay fairly smooth, but had a problem with the stiff controls. The newly added overdrive mode makes this game immensely more fun than its predecessors. Being a 3rd person shooter I thought it would be tricky on the psp but I was pleasantly mistaken.
Yet another title from Square Enix this year that’s been awesome! I highly recommend this game to all!

Lord of Arcana Review
Will you be the one to posses the strength and save the world using the Arcana? In this game you take on the role of a great Slayer that joins a guild to hunt monsters. Similar to God Eater Burst and Monster Hunter, basically you kill monsters, collect items and make gear…BUT in this game the battles are actually a challenge and have epic battle sequences where you hack and slash away the enemy into a bloody pulp :).
The gameplay of this game is very smooth, you get awesome CGI clips, EPIC battles and a weird sense of fulfillment after completing hard missions. One minor set back is that this game becomes a bit tedious and frustrating if you don’t actually play using a strategy, buth then again you can always just use a FAQ.
Take a look at the gameplay vid, it practically sums up all the key points of the game. Congratz Square Enix, another decent game for a change.

Gods Eater Burst Review
This is game has a lot of great innovative elements but it can closely be described as a “Monster Hunter” carbon copy. When starting a new game you have the option of choosing a male or female character and customizing their appearance, after this quick process you view a small intro and then get thrown straight into the game play. I recommend doing the tutorials first.
The battle system in this game is quite unique, you can switch between melee swordplay and ranged gun firing. The main objective of the game is to hack ‘n slash enemies while collecting resources, these resources are used to make better armor and weapons. New players to this genre of the game will find the camera angles quite difficult to get used to, but persevere! It is worth getting used to.
The breakdown of the story is... You are a "New Type" God Eater able to use both melee and range weapons. you work as a soldier for the Fenrir Corporation protecting the planets last survivors from terrible mutant creatures called the Aragami.
I found this game quite fun, it lasted me quite a while and i will thus encourage people to buy it!
